Discover Your Creativity

Creativity is defined as the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, and to create meaningful new ideas, originality, progressiveness, or imagination. Being creative and continually generating meaningful ideas is something that takes a lot of work and practice. I am constantly looking for ways to improve and grow my creative thinking.

Recently, HOW published an article about the book Breakthrough Thinking, by Thomas Vogel. The article breaks apart the notion that as a society we are separated into creative and not creative people, and goes on to suggests that the creative process is something that everyone can learn. In his book, Vogel outlines different perspectives of the design process and provides creative exercises to “massage the creative muscle”.

At Delucchi Plus, we’re always on the hunt for ways to bolster our creativity. Give Vogel’s “Twenty Circles Exercise” a try next time you need a break or are feeling stagnant. We promise it’ll get your creative juices flowing.
