It was only a matter of time before Christine started her own business. Voted “Most Friendly” in high school, the Texas native also holds her state’s record for Girl Scout cookie sales and won first place for her blueberry muffins at the Benton County Fair. Other signs she was destined for success? The early entrepreneur devised her first business plan — it involved worms, naturally — at the tender age of six!
But it takes more than a friendly disposition and Southern-styled salesmanship to own your own business for more than 15 years; Christine also owes her success to a rock solid work ethic and persistent emphasis on developing long-term, trust-based relationships. Driven by her love of travel and an innate need to serve others (her younger self wanted to be a firefighter when she grew up!) Christine’s passion is both seeing the world and giving back to it through donations, pro-bono work and community service — especially for those organizations that support the arts, human rights, the environment, and women’s health.
More than 25 years of real estate and retail marketing experience informs the foundation of Delucchi Plus, where Christine applies the same proven recipes of strategy, planning and real account management to a wide spectrum of lifestyle brands. Historically ahead of the technology curve, Christine is also quick to embrace new mediums and methodologies as they emerge and evolve, making Delucchi Plus one of the few communications agencies that truly merges both the art and science of storytelling.
“If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.”
It’s hard to catch Christine away from work, but if you do it’s likely with a glass of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir with her wife Martha or reading a good book. She loves to learn, but has the writing bug, too — she’s convinced she’ll one day add “author” to her resume and certainly has enough stories to fill her first manuscript.
