The Ascent

The Ascent at Spring Hill Station is a new construction, high-rise apartment building in the Tyson’s West neighborhood. With 26 floors, it is noteworthy as the tallest building in the Tysons Corner area and likely the tallest in Northern Virginia. With this development, our client, Greystar, had an opportunity to stand out amongst the rest – literally and figuratively. Equally important: This project needed to make a flagship statement about the company’s architecture and interior design capabilities. In all, we needed to create a true sense of place, positioning the Ascent as a desirable destination to live, work and shop while overcoming perceptions of Tysons Corner as a traffic-clogged outpost of D.C.

Our brand positioning focused on The Ascent as a transit-oriented development designed to be walkable but also convenient to the newly extended Metro line for those public transit commuters, while also being a “newer” way of seeing the Tysons Corner area for those living and commuting from outside the Beltway but interested in moving closer in. Our team brought these concepts to life through logo design, tagline development, and a strategic campaign via print, online and multiple collateral pieces

The Goal

To drive leases and build awareness of this luxury apartment community. The building is still under construction so the campaign had not launched yet. Stay tuned for measurable results.
