Staffing Update: Creative Team Gains Two Senior Members

This week we’re pleased to announce two exciting additions to our team: Thomas Frank as Chief Creative Officer and Lauren Sloat as Director of Content Strategy.

Thomas (Tom) will draw on his experience in political campaigns, advocacy efforts and corporate brand building to help ensure clients have effective creative strategy integrated across all communications channels. He will also be responsible for Delucchi Plus and Blue Bug Digital company brand strategy.

Lauren will apply her experience in digital media to her role, developing client messaging and storytelling, content strategy, and social media strategy. Lauren’s experience creating engaging content includes her role as D.C. Editor of Citysearch as well as editorial work featured in Rolling Stone, Washingtonian, DC Magazine and National Geographic Television, among other outlets.

Tom and Lauren come to Delucchi Plus and Blue Bug Digital as a team, having worked together at kglobal as Head of Digital Communications and Design and Vice President, Digital, respectively. Their combined 25 years of experience includes work with an impressive list of companies and associations, including the Country of Georgia, Crane & Co, higi, the Partnership for a Healthier America, Gardein, Gede, HK Anderson, America’s Promise, and the United Nations.

These investments in the creative leadership team happen at a time of growth for the company, which this year was named the sixth top advertising agency in the Washington Business Journal’s Book of Lists. In 2013 alone, Delucchi Plus and Blue Bug Digital have won a number of new clients in travel & tourism, health & wellness, retail, and corporate branding, and we’re eager for Tom and Lauren to help continue this diversification.
