Agency Life: Desk Swag Edition

0RT

At Delucchi, we are avid collators, storytellers and hopeful trendsetters always looking for a new source of inspiration. Believe it or not, we often we get our creative spark from the various items we keep on our desks. If you can recall from our last Agency Life post, everyone at Delucchi has a unique sense of style and as you can imagine, our desks are no different.

With everything from plastic dinos to doormats, our office has no shortage of personality. We firmly believe the desks are the bedrooms of the office: Find out what we keep in ours!

Sally Moriarty, Digital Analyst

Describe your desk swag in three words: Chaotic, colorful, funky
One piece of desk swag do you love the most and why: My collection of concert tickets. They remind me of groovy times!
Story behind one item on your desk: My little bamboo plant has a second home, which is at Uncle Drew’s desk where there is more sunlight. Sometimes I forget him at Uncle Drew’s house for too long and forget about him (like a few weeks once) but then I remember to water him and bring him back. I’m working on my plant-parenting skills.

Ali Kehoe, Copywriter

Describe your desk swag in three words: Gold, animals, memes
Piece of desk swag do you love the most: My gold sea-dino, Gregory
Celebrity that would probably have a similar desk to you: I’d like to think someone with a sense of gothic whimsy, like Helena Bonham Carter, but if I’m being realistic it’d probably be someone super basic like Kaley Cuoco

Drew Lawrence, Senior Content Strategist

Describe your desk swag in three words: Random artifacts. Dogs.
Inspiration behind your desk accessories: There’s no real inspiration per se. Most of what you see are artifacts from some point in my 5 years here at Delucchi. Some things remind me of coworkers past and present. Some things remind me of past projects. Some things remind me of how awesome dogs are.
Most useful item on your desk (Besides computer or phone): My thermos! I’ve used the same thermos every day for 6 years to supply my morning and afternoon coffee needs. And yes, it stays hot all day!
