Calling All District Dog Lovers: The 28th Annual Bark Ball Is Next Week!

The Washington Humane Society is hosting its 28th annual black-tie gala to benefit the animals of Washington, D.C. The Annual Bark Ball is the only event in D.C. where you can bring your canine companion as your date!

The district’s movers, shakers, and pooches alike will gather on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Washington Hilton for an extensive silent and live auction, dinner, program, dancing, and special surprises!

The Washington Humane Society is the only Congressionally-chartered animal welfare agency in the U.S., and has been the area’s leading voice for animals since 1870. As the open-access shelter in the Nation’s Capital, the Washington Humane Society provides comfort and care to over 51,000 animals annually through its broad range of programs and services.

This favorite D.C. event draws many of the area’s most illustrious residents and their four-legged friends, all in honor of the programs and services of the Washington Humane Society. The guest list always includes leading figures from the political, media, entertainment, sports, and business worlds.
