Current [PR] Crush: Coverage Book

PR Tools big

If you haven’t noticed, at Delucchi Plus, we’re HUGE fans of shiny new toys and tools. With the release of Oculus RiftGoogle Cardboard and now the artist’s 3D dream, Google Tilt Brush, we’ve undoubtedly entered a new age of virtual reality (VR) and perhaps even a new age of marketing. While our designers, developers and digital content team are cautiously optimistic with new tech, we can’t help but scheme up new ways to leverage these amazing VR tools.

So with the hype of the latest releases, we often ask ourselves, “Does PR get to play with any cool toys or neat tech?”

Well, sort of…

Enter: Coverage Book, the beautiful automated media clip book that allows PR Pros to create and share data-infused visual reports on earned press coverage.

Gone are the days of “screenshotting” each media hit to format on PowerPoint, having to physically (and painstakingly) cut and paste press clips—for those of us who remember—AND having to measure an article’s size to determine the ad rate or estimated media value. Yikes!

Coverage Book takes the grunt work out of reporting and presents a civilized way to showcase and measure a PR campaign’s success, which makes our lives a little better and much easier. With that, here are three reasons why we’re crushing on Coverage Book:

  • Easy – Simply collect your URLs and press clips, then drop them into Coverage Book. The platform handles the rest with formatting and metrics reporting.
  • Breezy – Time is money, and we’ve saved ourselves and our clients from automation’s hassle and hours of labor. Coverage Book pulls website visits, social shares and domain authority from trusted sources such as Moz and SimilarWeb.
  • Beautiful – Each report is truly customizable (and, dare we say, gorgeous) with the user experience. Take a look for yourself here.

PR Pros rejoice! We may not get to wear cool headgear (yet!) but we are certainly moving toward a more visually compelling, data-driven approach to reporting.
