Delucchi University: Time Management — Handling Workload and Life

Working at an agency and managing multiple clients can get tough when it comes to multi-tasking and managing our time. And today, this is where our Chief People Officer, Patty Delk, came in to offer us some tips (and great general life advice).

During our latest Delucchi University, Patty had us look at time the way we look at money, advising us to manage it and approach it like a bank account. We only have so much time in a day and much of our time gets wasted by the very thing we work with: technology and social media. Because of this conundrum, Patty advised us to look at time as an asset and to plan even the little things.

Patty’s own busy schedule served as an inspiration to help us all on a daily basis. We learned that, although our phones and computers have become useful informational tools, they’ve also infringed upon our ability to plan and manage our own personal lives. Through inspirational quotes and time management app recommendations (TimeSink, Wunderlist, OneFocus), Patty helped us find ways to maximize our workflow, and even our downtime!
