How We’re Helping Mrs. Fields Celebrate the Nation’s Heroes

Creating content for, remaining relevant to and starting a conversation with your target audience can be tricky, and comes with many considerations! We’ve got you covered with best practices, insights, case studies — and more! — to act as your guide to engagement for social media marketing services.

October is National Cookie Month and we’ve embarked on one colossal cookie mission: the second annual Mrs. Fields #ShareYourHero campaign to find and celebrate our nation’s next hometown hero!

We’ve called on people across the nation to nominate their hero by October 31 on the Mrs. Fields Share Your Hero landing page for the hero’s chance to win $1,000 for their contribution to the community, a $5,000 donation to the charity of their choice and a special Hometown Hero event in their honor. In addition, nominators received a cookie coupon and 2,000 lucky people also get a free cookie, while supplies last.

Yesterday, Delucchi Nation took to the streets of D.C. to spread the cookie love via guerrilla marketing in our trusty red Mrs. Fields Cookie Moments tee shirts. We asked visitors and tourists alike to share their hero and be entered into the contest for a free cookie on-demand. Even the secret service got involved!

Oh, and did we mention that celebrities who support charities have joined in on the fun via Twitter? Ben Higgins (former ABC Bachelor) tweeted on behalf of the Baker Youth Club in his hometown and Lupe Fiasco tweeted on behalf of his charity We Are Mural, which empowers inner-city youth as artists, activists and global citizens.
