As a senior brand strategist, Ali articulates the strategy behind brands and crafts high-level creative initiatives. Shedding some light on the behind-the-scenes magic of branding, she says: “There’s a lot of qualitative, nuanced analysis that goes into choosing a specific color palette, tone, all the way down to what type of animal a brand’s mascot should be,” she explains. “Successful brands resonate for a reason – it’s not just blindly tapping into the zeitgeist.”
In her free time, Ali travels home to Minnesota to see her nieces, reads British crime novels, and takes the pursuit of happiness very seriously. “I am a hedonist and I refuse to feel guilt for any of my pleasures,” she declares, “Some might view my Vanderpump Rules addiction with disdain, but Shakespeare’s plays were considered ‘low art’ in their time, too.” That’s a philosophy we can get behind!
